Eddie B’s Upload Highlights (Apr. 13 – Apr. 19)

Well, I’m a little late with this post, but I wanted to point out some of the goodies we added to the store last week ;)

1. Bahrain (Original Mix) – Harper and Green [a:Loud Recordings] <– This track is dope! The guys over at a:Loud have been working hard, and it’s definitely starting to show. They’re still a young label, and in my opinion "Bahrain" is their best release to date. Don’t sleep!

2. Bahrain (Tim Fretwell Mix) – Harper and Green [a:Loud Recordings] <– See previous comment.

3. Saudade (Original Mix) – Peter Corvaia [HeadRush Music] <– As usual, HeadRush delivers the first rate prog! I’ve got nothing but positive things to say about this label ;)

4. Saudade (Stopping Time Forever Mix) – Peter Corvaia [HeadRush Music] <– I have to add this one to the list. I’m not sure which one I like better, this or the original…they’re both solid.

5. Rey Tirano (Original Mix) – Neftali Blasko [BIT Records Mexico] <– More mindbending prog from BIT Records Mexico. These guys just keep puttin’ it down!

6. Oceanfront (Mike Brin Remix) – Throw and Sirus [Magnolia Digital] <– I like Mike Brin’s style. I can’t quite explain it, but there’s some intangible element to the vibe of his tracks that draws me in…good stuff ;)

7. My Computer Boy (Akbal Dubroots Remix) – Ladies on Mars [Xela Digital] <– This track is just plain nasty, with tech tinges and a bass line that keeps your head nodding.

8. Abre Las Alas (Original Mix) – Christos Kessidis feat Namara [Aenaria Music] <– I still really dig a good deep house track…takes me back to the days when I was buggin’ out to the silky vibes of the likes of Naked Music. Nice, sophisticated, mellowed-out tunes ;)

9. Open Source (Original Mix) – A.Paul [Naked Lunch Records] <– I like the minimal stuff, but sometimes my ears get that itch for straight, throbbin’ techno ;) When it comes to that, Naked Lunch has the bases covered.

10. Worst Case Scenario (Original Mix) – Loudon Kleer [Dirty Ego Records] <– Gotta love the techy, crunchy goods.
