Much Improved Page Loading Times

I wanted to write a quick post to let our blog readers know that we just made a Much Needed improvement to our site. Specifically, if you go to our default store page (i.e. to our New Releases section), you will notice that the pages are loading much more quickly than they’ve been loading in recent months.

I’ll be perfectly honest here and say that until we fixed this issue, our pages were loading SO SLOWLY that I truly don’t see how anybody was shopping for new releases on our site — unless they were using the banners to jump right to various releases.

I’m still not saying that our site is blisteringly fast…but it is much better than it was before.

It’s been so tough for us for so long…knowing that there were many ways in which we needed to improve our site and (frankly) not having the money or personnel to make the changes needed. But a new day is here now, and there’s a new RV in the works…I’m not just talking about the forthcoming version 2.0 site; I’m talking about the fact that our company is humming with energy and excitement right now!

I know there aren’t a huge number of people reading this blog (yet). Right now, it’s probably just the die hard RV supporters…the people who have continued to shop on our site, even though it was slow, and even though we don’t have as many releases as Beatport, etc. All I have to say to those supporters, and to everybody else, is that we’re making steady improvements over here…keep an eye on us, because we’re going to shake things up a bit this year :D And that’s real.

Looking forward to the entire 2.0 concept. Really wondering what it will be like!
