The weekend is getting close, and I’m feeling obliged to share another quality mix with all of our blog readers…

Once again, I went digging through the the friskyRadio subscription archives, and I found a gem

It’s with great pleasure that I take a few minutes here to share a mix from an artist who has been a true RV supporter since the Early Days: Ingo Vogelmann.

If you’ve been following RV long enough, then you may remember that Ingo was the man behind one of the most successful label’s that we’ve ever carried in our store, namely L2 Music. In my last few years of working in the electronic music industry, I haven’t interacted with anybody else quite like Ingo. He’s definitely one of a kind, and he’s clearly talented, spirited, and committed to the music.

This mix is part one of a set Ingo calls "Lightworks" – I’m assuming as a reference to his recent Lightworks EP on friskyRecords. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but for some reason the title seems very apt to me. At certain points, the mix is like an aural representation of light beams dancing…it feels like the sounds are making your brain cells coruscate…very cool stuff…proggy, high-quality and different, just like my man Ingo
