It’s with strongly mixed emotions that I write this blog post.
On July 5, 2005, we launched the beta version of the Resonant Vibes 1.0 website. We didn’t have a big web development budget; we were just a few resourceful with a drive to share the electronic music experience with the world. Over time, our version 1.0 website changed in certain ways, but pretty much stayed the same under the hood. Well, all that’s about to change tomorrow!
Tomorrow, around 5:00pm or so (Eastern Time), we’re going to take the RV version 1.0 website down to make way for the new, drastically improved RV 2.0. We’ll be offline for a couple days – though we’ll keep our blog live to stay in touch. After that, we’ll resurface with a completely new look and with cool features that nobody else is providing for the electronic music community.
So, while I’ll always have a tender spot for our first site, I must say that I’m really excited about where we’re heading!
I’ll be writing more posts throughout the week to keep you up to speed on things.
