In association with MixMeister, RV is kicking off new mix and track contests in our Network on Monday, December 7th, at 17:00 GMT! The contests will remain open through December 21st, and you can enter by simply uploading a mix or track to our Network. This is your chance to upload some good tunes and to win cool prizes and recognition for your skills.
I know we’ve got plenty of good DJs and producers reading this blog, and you guys are working to get your name out. We want RV to be a forum for you…our last mix contest winner, Tom Beltor, had his music downloaded by over 2,400 people and played by over 200 others, so there’s definitely an opportunity for exposure!
As usual, the RV team is not going to judge the contests; we’ll leave that to the community, which brings me to an important point…after you upload your mix or track, you should definitely encourage your friends to vote for it! As with most endeavors, it helps to do a little extra legwork in these contests. We’ve made it easy for you to let your friends know; all you have to do is click the Twitter and/or Facebook icons on your item, and poof, the word goes out! (On a side note, if you don’t have a Twitter and Facebook account, you should make that happen yesterday.) After your music gets some votes from your friends, it can gain momentum and be more likely to grab the attention of the tens of thousands of other people checking out our site during the contest cycle.

Mix Contest – Cycle 004
The winner of the mix contest will receive the following goodies:
- A free download of MixMeister Fusion (retail value over $300)!
- A $50 download voucher for the RV shop
Track Contest – Cycle 002
The winner of the track contest will receive a $150 download voucher for the RV shop.
