His broad range of styles ranging from house and filtered disco workouts to tribal house, tech-house and minimal have helped him secure remixes and collaborations with top-tier artists including Felix Da Housecat, DJ Rush, Colette, Sinead O’Connor, Greenskeepers, Julia Fordham, Robbie Rivera and Pole Folder.
.
In 1999 Alanis released his debut album The Subconscious State of Techno and followed it up with the release of his hit Do You Like the Way You Feel When You Shake which was also the inaugural release for his imprint A-Squared Muzik. In 2004 he found himself ranked in BPM Magazine’s Top 100 DJ List after producing DJ Colette’s Dancestar Award winning song: Feelin’ Hypnotized, which later went on to be heavily licensed commercially for compilations and appeared in the film Devil Wears Prada and in a Motorola advertisement.
