If only!
July 3rd, 2006 this year saw the site turn one. It’s been a great time to take the site to where it is now, but it’s also clear that we have a long, long way still to go.
The thing that we are focused on, is getting there. We truely believe in what we’re doing, and we think that you know that. Granted we don’t have a huge catalog yet compaired to other sites, but our prices and format are good.
There are so many problems to work around when you undertake this sort of venture. I personally have the up most respect for all the other stores in this space because, quite frankly, they are on it. We know what’s involved in the process of running a site like this, and it’s not for the faint of heart.
It’s also clear that in any emerging market (the download space) that there is not a great deal of information out there on how to do things. I think it’s a question of doing your research, being smart with the decision making, and offering a service of value.
We know we have some areas to fix, and we are in the process of doing so. Without giving too much away I can say that we’re working on updating the release dates to display the real release date, and not the dates added to the site. Our featured DJ page, is really coming soon, honestly,… even thought the placeholder has been up for a looong time. We will be expanding our catalog, bringing you more DJs, more samples, and some “top secret” development is happening also. RV Digital has been on the back burner of late, but we have got a new label manager to get it moving andget the releases out there.
All in all, we’re trying to get a lot done to imrove the way the site works, and how you can get the most out of your time spent logged on.
Like I mentioned in my first post, we all hope that this blog brings everyone closer to the RV team, and gives you a way for us to hear your opinion.
Thanks for stopping by.

I think you are on the right way and create a nice friendly shop for all underground dance lovers. I’m sure it is hard, as anything in this business. Make sure you don’t burn out yourself.
Oh, and this blog is also a good idea.
Been here, Fc.

Ed, you talked my head off tonight at the Asiatique! I know I’m you’re intern and all, but I have RLS and it’s not cool to hear you ramble about the joint etc… My motto is, smoke easy, smoke often, and keeps it real.
