There’s a track on disc one of Oakey’s GU CD that I’ve always liked, and I’ve listened to it a few times recently. It’s called "Paradise," and it’s by Miro. (For those who don’t know the track, I’ve posted it below so you can check it out.)
In addition to being a great track musically — it starts on a relatively simple note and builds into a jam — I’ve always been intrigued by the lyrics. I have some ideas about what the lyrics mean, but I’ve never been able to fully wrap my head around them.
….have a listen, and tell me what you think. I’d love to hear some different interpretations on the matter
…do you think they’re saying something profound, or are the lyrics not really even intended to convey a particular meaning?
