Few DJs have been spinning since they were ten years old, but when Paul was that age, he was playing Marvin Gaye records on his father’s turntables. Paul’s many years of dedication to DJ’ing – over nineteen – show his passion for the art form and have given him experience that clearly sets him apart.

Paul is a lifelong resident of Boston who has done much to push the city’s electronic music scene toward the cutting edge. He plays frequently at well-known local venues such as Avalon and RISE, where he holds a residency along with Steve Porter, D:Fuse, and Groovefire. In addition to playing locally, Paul has performed at clubs, events, and on mix shows across the US and internationally (in Chicago, Detroit, Las Vegas, Miami, Toronto, Brisbane, Amman, London, Santo Domingo, and other cities worldwide).

Paul enjoys playing extended sets that allow him to guide listeners through everything from minimal beats and deep or tech house to banging drum tracks and Detroit-style techno. Paul views each of his sets as an opportunity to share himself with the audience and to expose them to new and interesting musical ideas.

When Paul is not DJ’ing, he is usually busy doing other things related to his passion, electronic music. He currently writes reviews and articles for industry publications, including DJ Times (US), Kick Magazine (Toronto), and Upfront (UK), as well as for www.dancemusic.about.com. Paul also hosts an XM Radio show called “Hardwired,” which is broadcast throughout North America on Channel 080, “The Move.” His show airs each week for two hours and features not just his music but also guest mixes from other talented DJs around the world. Paul also hosts a show every Friday on the Italian Internet radio station Orion 1 (www.orion1radio.it), and he is a monthly resident on Master Dub, an FM program syndicated throughout Italy.

In addition to his freelance writing and radio show hosting, Paul has also released several EPs and has works that will soon be released on labels in Canada, England, and Germany. He has also been a featured speaker at numerous music conventions and trade shows, including the DJ Times International Expo in Atlantic City and the Winter Music Conference in Miami, and he is schedule to speak at the 2005 Amsterdam Dance Event in October.
