EOTO is a Livetronica duo comprised of Michael Travis and Jason Hann formerly of The String Cheese Incident. Jason Hann plays drums and takes care of the rhythmic elements while Michael Travis is responsible for all melodic and tonal instrumentation along with some percussion aspects. The band started in 2005 with simple off-time jamming, and eventually led to a more elaborate looping system via Ableton Live. In 2007 the band performed their first concert at the Sonic Bloom Festival in Colorado. Since then they have been touring relentlessly gaining a new allegiance of fans wherever they play. The band claims DJs are their biggest influences and electronic dance music is what they make. The EOTO concept is 100% improvised with nothing pre-recorded and nothing pre-planned. You will never catch the band performing exactly the same thing twice. Every concert is available for download online.
