It’s been a while since I shared a mix, so I figured it was time to post a new one for you.

Before I talk about this mix, I want to mention that I downloaded it from the RV network! It feels great to see so much quality free music hitting our site. Everyday I delve into our network, and there are tight new mixes in there to check out…like the one posted here

This mix was uploaded by Rob Curtis, and it’s the 11th episode of his Textures podcast. I actually wasn’t familiar with Rob’s work or his podcast, so I’m glad he took the time to share this mix with the RV community. In giving some background about this mix, here’s what Rob had to say:

“I had the opportunity to play a very unique show about a month back at Holt Renfrew for a closed event that they had in the store in Downtown Calgary. I needed to play some laid back tunes that could blend into the background easily and provide a good soundtrack to the event. After thinking about this for a while I decided to put a playlist together of a number of smooth and deep house tracks that i have been collecting over the past few years but have never really found a good outlet to play. This mix is a subset of the show that I played that night and makes for a really good chill mix which is something i’ve not done before. So grab a book and find your comfiest chair and get some good R&R with this, my first chill out disc.”
