Greetings friends, readers and shoppers. We have made a few tweaks to the site, some of which will make some of you happy – none of which (hopefully) will send any of you into the waiting, open arms of Beatport.
If this turns out to be the case, please let us know. We’ve been looking for an excuse to shuffle upper management….

John and Craig have been hard at work taking user feedback and molding the new RV 2.0 into a site on which, we hope, you will enjoy spending your ever-diminishing supply of free time. The first change comes from suggestions voiced by many, most notably from Podrunner head honcho and friend of RV, DJ Steve Boyett. Early in the development of the new site, we thought browsing would be best accomplished on a release by release basis. Our thinking was that users would want to be able to browse in a way that offered maximum content in the least amount of time. In a conversation with Eddie B regarding navigation of the site, Steve pointed out (and I’m paraphrasing here) “I just want a big list of tracks I can go through one by one”. Well Steve, say no more. On the left side of store landing page now resides a browse section, under which are buttons for tracks and samples. Browse away.

Speaking of samples, large strides have been made to make sample packs more accessible. Users can search and browse for them by title or genre. On a related note, I have been in touch with several new sample providers and will soon be adding to the already stellar Resonant Vibes sample stable. Check back for more details.

A last bit of news regarding the RV Network. For those of you who encountered problems uploading material to the Network the past few days, the issue has been resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience, and would love it if you would upload any mixes and tracks that didn’t make it the first time. Shoot me an email at seth@resonantvibes.com if you do so I can give them a listen.

Until next time…
